All about Sonic

Ben, I hope you would consider bringing that to the attention of the store manager. Your right it is a rip off, or else a computer glitch. The prices are imputted remotely from corporate. My husband spends hours fixing what gets messed up, but if it were his store, you not telling, him would mean he couldn't fix the problem. Recently he spent 9 hrs changing all the prices, because corporate downloaded prices for the wrong district. Obviously different states have different prices, or I wouldn't be paying $5 a gallon for milk and my sister $2.39.

our Sonic is a joke, I live in Texarkana Tx and our state line drive in never gets your order right, they always mess something up, when you ask about compensation for your time and effort and stress, they refuse and say oh, well, so sorry, I love the coney and tots, but i am at the point that I no longer want to put up with all of the hassle...I have a large family and eat there often, but that is soon to change!!!

Wow what a total jerk! You are right, his name wasn't needed, see every Saturday he has to fax his schedule to corporate, so they know every single person on the shift at the time you recieved such crappy service. So long to his bonus, oh so sorry! and wow I hope all the returned food that was unpaid for screws up his food cost as well. The only time my husband has treatened to call the police on a customer, the customer was using the N word toward a car hop, that wasn't even her carhop, she in fact asked if that N touched her food, that she didn't want it if she did, that was it, it was on, and she called corporate, yeah so had my husband, corporate was able to ask if she was the woman who used that word, she hung up, darn, he wanted to frame that complaint.

My daughter and I had grill cheese sandwiches from Sonic in Lindale, Texas and we both developted food poisoning after eating the grill cheese sandwich.

I have eaten at the sonic in titusville, florida about 10 times and i would say that i have recieved good food and service there once or twice. I finally found somthing that they don't screw up (on the advice of a friend) and it happened they screwed it up (strawberry slush) I got cool strawberry water with about 4-5 strawberry lumps. this will be the last time i go to that sonic what a crap hole. i have also decided that sonic will be my last choice of places to eat in any situation.

I'm highly aggitated with Sonic for reasons that have nothing to do with their food. My child's father started working as a manager for Sonic in Pensacola, FL a few months ago. He went down to Child Support Enforcement, told them where he worked. They told him that they would fax an income deduction order to Corporate, THEY (Sonic HQ) would start deducting the money and it would go onto this card the Child Support agency sent me. They (Sonic) has been deducting money from his paychecks but I DO NOT receive it. We've already both been down to Child Support to fix this but they tell us that Sonic made a clerical error and that they have never seen any of the money or even got the income deduction order back. I've been calling any corporate number I can find. I am sick of this. Sonic is holding around $800 of my daughter's. From what I can tell, and thank god it's not just me, CSE will wait to see if the error is fixed or if they keep taking the money and THEY WILL SUE. I'm sick of looking for ONE PERSON in the Corporate office to help me get this resolved. My daughter and I get to skip Christmas this year. Oh, yes, Andrew, please tell me to call 1866OKSONIC. I've done that. It tells you to dial an extension or dial a name. How in the hell is that going to help me? Can't you offer a real solution? I'm not saying you aren't a good manager. But I work in the food business. I'm a server. I know exactly what to say and do with disgruntled guests. I have a very valid complaint and I want a valid answer, please. I don't want the same easy answer that has been given to everyone with a complaint. I just want this solved so my daughter doesn't have to wake up on Christmas morning and see a pack of sugar-free gum.

kayte

when is there going to be a sonic by or in dearborn michigan?

Marci

I lived in southern Colo. and went to Sonic all the time, once in a while you got cold fries or a mistake on an order, but more often than not the food was hot and fast and correct. Since I have moved to Laramie, WY I have stopped going to Sonic. The Sonic here is HORRIBLE! The food is often cold, the buns are stale, you wait forever for your order, it is almost always wrong, drinks and fries are not full and the teenagers who work there are rude. Sonic needs to implement a consistent management training program. If they ran all their stores like the ones in southern Colo. they would probably make a lot more money!

sonic manager

I just became a store manager a month ago at an Illinois store. I love sonic. I have been an assistant for 6 years. I like to know what my customers think of my business. This is how i keep tabs on how I am doing. This is the first time to see this blog. WOW!! Talk about complaints. Every sonic is different and most are owned and operated by different people. Please know if you get bad service at one sonic that they are all not like that one. We try our hardest to make your experience a good one. Give us a chance to do that.

Michael

I just want to know who is the Sonic Lady? Is she really married to that guy? Man, she gets hotter ever time I see her! My burger fantasy lady! Yum!

lexie

I live in central texas and the tv commercials that you have been running for quite some time are the worst commercials I have ever watched/heard. Two guys and sometimes a guy and a girl always in the front seat of a car. All three are S T U P I D looking and sounding. Based on these commercials I am completely turned OFF by Sonic and WILL NOT go there. Can't believe Sonic pays for these types of commericals to be made and aired. DUMB, DUMBER AND REALLY DUMB. Doesn't say much for the Sonic mentality or maturity.

fred

To the woman who is complaining about $800 in child support you are pathetic if $800 dollars is gonna cost you kid christmas presents what did you do spend all your money and then at the last minute decide to buy christmas presents.......loser

Diana

Hey Fred did it occur to you that $800 is probably not 1 months worth of child support. That just maybe mom spent what little money she had on maybe say food, rent, utilities, how old was the kid, diapers? I am supposed to get $54 a month in child support from my kids' dead beat dad, she turns 18 next month I have recieved a whopping $13 in 18 years. Obviously Fred is one of those dead beat dad's who feel their child or the ex isn't worthy to recieve his hard earned money

jackie barrett

I grew up with Sonic in Oklahoma and when I moved to California about 6 months ago, I have taken my family with 4 small kids to different Sonics and has been a truly BAD experience. We get our orders mixed up, the food is expensive and bland. what's up with the styrofoam cups-- trying to destroy the environment? Why spend $30 at Sonic when you can to to In-and-Out for much better food and service!?!?!?!?

Elizabeth

I have been reading the comments from so many who have had bad experiences with the Sonic chain and I just have to take the time to say something positive. I am a HUGE fan of Sonic. I think the bugers are better than any other chain's and I love the Strawberry Limeades. I eat at Sonics in the Tampa, Florida area and I have only once had poor or incorrect service, which is an incredible percentage compared to most other chains. The only time I eat at another chain is when there is not a Sonic in the near vicinity and I have no other choice! I am a very happy and loyal Sonic customer.

Nick

I worked at a Sonic here in Glendale, AZ. It sucked, the manager didn't like people very much and kept me on board for 2 months. I then got fired for calling off on a Friday. I was very unhappy working there. Besides the fact that most of the customers are hard to deal with. I have heard it all. "This isn't that hard, why cant you hear me?" and "Why can't you get my order right?". when the answers are "well mam your car engine is too loud for the microphone." and "You are going way too fast for me sir". and too the people who have their orders special made and exact, it realy pisses off the cooks, fountains, and boards when you are sooo anal about your food and drinks. If you want fine dining go to a resturant. Sonic is a fast food joint just like taco bell or burger king. Don't expect so much of them. And try to be patient with the people taking your order. they have to listen to the same shit day in and day out for hours and you are no exception. Also, do not get angry with them until you have worked behind the counter. It is not what you all think it is.

keri

BRING THEM TO MASSACHUSETTS WE NEED THEM!!!!!!!!

disgruntled employee

Well, I am a current sonic employee. I am beginning to resent the customers that come to sonic. For one thing, they assume that I am some stupid, ignorant slut of girl because I work at a fast food restaurant. I am tired of being treated like a retard because customers cannot figure out how to correctly order their food, and when they mess up on their order, they scream at me. I am tired of not being tipped, ignorance is only an excuse once. I am tired of dealing with rude customers who think it is appropriate to make overly sexual advances to the mostly young car-hops who bring their food out.

Diana

To disgruntled employee: Honey you are in the wrong field of business, and if you find another, you're likely to find the same thing. Customers can't order their food appropriately because they haven't had the opportunity to be on your side of the headset, and just because mayo or mustard is engrained on your brain for eternity, the customer, well they won't, I've always thought the charts on how to build a sandwich, that you find throughout the kitchen should be on the menu board. If you think the customer is trying to make you feel bad just smile, cuz you know they are gonna drop their drink in their lap before they get home. As for sexual advances, yeah anytime you deal with the general public you do get A**Holes like that, you would have to essentially work from home to avoid it, and I know customers aren't tipping especially if you have a window now, and it really sucks!

jessica

How do other managers handle irrate customers?
I've been a manager for 14 years. I very seldom get customers who scream and yell at me, but i have a tendency to let them curse and scream at me and I stand there like an idiot and take it. I appologize to them and tell them I will make sure the problem gets corrected. Should I tell them as soon as I get to their vehicle to leave, or I will call the police? (because they have already called the speaker operator every name in the book) Or stand there and take a ass chewing, apologize and if their still p.o.ed tell them to leave ect.?

I can't get a decent fresh fruit slushy in Lincoln, Nebraska. I have to go to Grand Island where they make the best. I'm not kidding, when I ask for double the fruit in Lincoln, ...it's still no where near the amount I get at a Grand Island Sonic. but I keep going back, even though I'm not satisfied, it beats taking two hours out of my day for a trip to G.I. ...It's kinda like a prison for me or a concentration camp if you will... I want more fresh fruit in my fresh fruit slushy, so,
...I have to grow it my self...

RE: Sonic Drive inn,
Collectors Ltd, 1965 mustang toy ele. car. For Sonic 50th Anniv.
The car is about 22 " X 50" Red and has Coca ~ Cola, Dr. Pepper and Sonic logos on it.

I have been searching for any info on this. I found this blog and thought maybe, an owner or collector of Sonic items may have some information on this car I have. All I know so far is that it was a limited edition for Sonic Drive Inns.

Thanks I hope someone might be able to help me.

I WORKED AT A SONIC IN THE PALM SPRINGS AREA (SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA)AND SADLY IT BURNED DOWN I MOVED AWAY AND HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING THE MANAGERS/OWNER.I NEED TO GET A W2 FORM AND I DONT KNOW HOW CAN ANYONE HELP?

Diana

Christina, just go to any other sonic, and they should be able to give you the number for payroll. Never mind the number for Sonic tax dept is 405-225-5000, they will not reissue w-2's until March 1st. I really hope this helps.

christina

thanks diana =) your very helpful.

My children and I stopped at the Sonic Restaurant in Stockton, MO on Friday, 02/29/08. I ordered Whacky Packs for my children. When they arrived I handed my son his meal and opened the sandwich for my 2-year-old daughter, as I always have, to allow the burger to cool down a bit. When I opened the sandwich there was a huge bite taken out of the burger. If I had not done this I would never have known that this bite was in the burger. I buzzed the store and explained the situation to the order person. You should have heard the silence. They asked if I would like to order another one and when I receive that one it was an adult sized sandwich. All the carhop had to say was "I'm sorry about that." I also had my son check his sandwich before eating it just to make sure there was not a bite taken out of his.

This is totally uncalled for and I am thinking very seriously about contacting my lawyer to see what can be done about this. I have also been told that I need to contact the FDA. Luckily, I was able to think fast enough that I took a picture of the burger with my cell phone, just in case they wanted the burger back.

So please, what ever you do, be sure to look at your food before eating it. You never know when your sandwich may have been eaten by someone else. Who is to say that this burger was not someone else's burger that the people working at the Stockton Sonic had not taken out of the trash and tried to resell it.

Just a bit of caution from someone who has been there.

Caitlin

Dear Sonic,
Everytime I see your commercial I want to lick the screen when the cookie dough blast comes on. Those vanilla swirls of sugary goodness filled with cookie dough chunks are enough to make me foam at the mouth. But then I remember the closest one to me is in NJ and I want to die. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's...none of these would satisfy me. So please, build a sonic in Massachusetts. Preferably within walking distance to my house. Thanks so much.

Signed,
Obsessed with ice cream

Sonic Partner

I'm quite sure there was not a bite taken from your sandwich. Who on earth would bite a sandwich and send it out. I have been a managing partner at Sonic for seven years and have heard this complaint a few times. It usually stems from one of two things: 1. The bun toaster is poorly maintained and tore a piece of bun off. 2. They were out of 2 oz meat patties so they cut down a 3.6 oz meat pattie to kind of fit the bun. Either of these conditions are unacceptable and the drive in management staff should have handled your complaint personally rather than send the carhop out. Sorry you had difficulty in Stockton, I believe Excel Group owns that location and in all regards they are a very well respected franchisee.

keri

I THINK SONIC FOGOT ABOUT US IN MASSACHUSETTS.. TO THE ICE CREAM LADY I SENT AN EMAIL TO SONIC HEADQUATERS AND ASKED THEM WHERE THE SONICS WHERE COMMING TO MASS AND THE REPLY WAS IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS.. SO THERE IS HOPE FOR US. THERE IN NEW JERSEY SO WE HAVE TO BE NEXT I WOULD HOPE. BTW I WENT TO THE SONIC IN PENN LAST SUMMER AND I WAS AWESOME.. MY HUBBY THOUGHT I WAS A NUT TAKING PICS AND I MANANGED TO GET A HAT AND A TRAY ACTUALLY SOMEONE ELSE GOT ME THE TRAY WHEN THEY WENT. SO SONIC WHERE STILL WAITING.....

RJBONE

A Sonic just opened in the area I work in most of the time, so I logged on these sites to find out if the only way to get service there is to drive up in a car? I have not come across anything that would answer my question. Can any one help me out please?

Diana

RJBONE: Sonic also offers patio service, most during the summer have either a mist system or fans. Some Sonics even deliver to some business', if there is multiple orders, I believe it has to total over $50, but don't quote me on that

Diana

ok, as some of you may be aware, my husband is partner w/ sonic, I am not having a good month with Sonic, first there is a new supervisor, and he's touring stores, great, this directly after some problems in a different area with partners fighting with the health department, ok great. So this man, and his 2 directly above superiors {my husbands superiors} came to tour, so the new guy asks, Y is this broke, that broke, my husband tells him the truth, he was told no money 2 fix it, wow all the sudden there is money to fix it. for 2 yrs my husband has had to endure a broken air conditioner, huh fixed, great fantastic. Well my husband has worked 12 hr. scheduled days for 1 1/2 yrs, now in addition to that he is there 3-5 hrs past his scheduled hours, everyday. Well his director, is now on his way, he's stopping after the races. Ok, I have no sex life, why cuz Sonic gets everything, my kid hasn't left the house in years, cuz he's afraid dad might come home, and he miss him. Now he's acting up in school, dad no time to deal with it, sonic comes first. I'm pissed I'm fucking sick of this shit.

Mara

I have a question. How do you find the information to contact human resources. I am extremely concerned about information that has come to my attention. I have several girls that live in my neighborhood and two of them work at the near by sonic. They told me that they are being paid under minimum wage and are being told that they are being paid 'training wages'. They are also forced to save their tips until the next day that way if the store is short they can cover what is missing. They are also made to clockout when their shift is up but are not allowed to leave until the car hop money is cashed out causing them to sit there up to two hours waiting - and not being paid. I feel that they are being taken avantage of because of their age and inexperience. I have told them that they need to contact human resources and inform the company what is going on but I have been unsuccessful in finding them that information. Please advise. Thank you.

Norma

The Sonic in Bartlett TN (Hwy 70) is overcharging on all of their combos. I just figured this out last night and realized that I've probably paid $20 over the last couple of months. Theft is not my idea of "good customer service"!

Donn Moehlenpah

To whom it may concern:

I am a senior citizen.

I used to patronize Sonic Reastaurants quite frequently in Tennessee until I began to frequently experienc heart burn and indigestion from the hamburgers and onion rings. I vowed never to go back again until last Friday, March 21, 2008. We were in Chapel Hill, TN and looking for something to eat. It seemed like the only place we saw was a Sonic so we dicided to try it. I ordered a hamburger and shared onion rings and fries with my wife. The only thing different that I had was a Strawberry slush. In that my wife did not experience any problems, the culprit seemed to be in the Strawberry slush.

Afterwards I became violently ill. When I got back to my daughter's home in Nashville I decided to take a nap to see if I could get over it. I took some anti acids, similar to Tums, to see if that would help. The pain in my stomach felt like a knife stabbing me. Later I had to literally run out the front door to vomit on her steps and front lawn. The pain relieved after that but I then experienced severe diarrhea for two nights in a row. I now have a red hot rash on my thighs and mid section 5 days later. These are all symptoms of food poisoning.

Except for the rash, I am beginn- ing to feel better and get my apetite back. I related this to a man repairing our roof today and he told me that he experienced the same thing at a Sonic and it ended up costing him over $2,000 dollars in a hospital stay.

I am writing this to get the management's attention to this serious problem. I do not know how else to do it as I reside a long ways form Chapel Hill, TN.

family man

I went to a sonic in sparks, nv. I just happened to go for for dinner after I had gotten off work with my girls. I went thru the drive thru and ordered for me and my kids. While I was getting my food i saw some one making drinks and talking on a cell phone, is this sanitary or acceptable or just a way of the times? believe me I wont go back!

Arkansas Sonic Crew Leader

Family Man,
As a crew leader for a Sonic in Nashville, Arkansas, I can only speak for our Sonic. Cell phones are not acceptable while working. It isn't tolerated. Our employees are written up if caught on their phones while working. They are only allowed to use them on their breaks. Please know that each Sonic is unique and not all of them allow this kind of behavior. No use in abandoning Sonics altogether.

I'll get fired if I release my name. Sorry.

I work for Sonic on Shady Grove in Irving, TX. This comany is not all it's cracked up to be. My boss Dave yells at us all the time and calls us Bitches. There is a lady who threw out her back that works there and she is suppose to be on bed rest and Dave told her she has to work 11 hour shifts or she is fired. She has been with the company for 13 years. This is not a "family drive in". The owner Pat knows all about it and does nothing. His wife is a school teacher and still he has no problem putting a jerk in charge of 15 younge girls. We hear derogatory comments and words all day long even the male cooks are fed up with it. If I had the money I would take Sonic America's Drive in to court. I have been at Sonic for 6 years and never been so insulted, hit on, and betten down by management. Im mentally exhausted because of the manager Dave. Well I have said what I wanted to say and personally I have no more fight in me. So enjoy your hotdogs and slushes cuz you never know how much it took to get them out ot you.

Steve

If you have been putting up with this for six years you are dumbass and deserve it. I personally think you are just full of shit.

Amy Turner

We have a new Sonic in St. James, Mo, and so far I have been very disapointed. The first order was wrong, today I waited three minutes for someone to notice there was someone at the drive-up, and then they were out of root beer. I have been going to Sonic for decades, and this is the worst service I have ever received. Oh yeah, they also took the fantastic regular coney off the menu. What is this world coming to when you cannot trust Sonic.
They either need a new manager, or new employees.

Diana

To the person in TX- you need to call the sonic help desk, that will make corporate aware of the situation, from there, they will email your complaint to the area & district supervisor, something should be done about it then, I know they sure are right on top of every single issue here in VA. As for family man in NV, no cell phones are not allowed, there is a policy across the board, but lets face it, when the big dogs aren't there, the children will play. Every meeting my husband has had he says no cells, last week, 3 hrs after the meeting, I happened to be on myspace and so was 1 of the employees, my husband just happened to come up behind me and see this and out the door he ran, wasn't until 2 hrs later I found out she was on the clock, changing her background screwing around, she was terminated. But he can't be there every second, lets face it his managers are not going to see everything, hell they see nothing unless it involves them personally. To Amy- New store bound to be some problems, give them sometime to get their acts together, a lot of time the opening is the first time the crew has worked together and takes a little while to get everyone in sync. Remember your first couple weeks at a new job, well this is 20+ ppl in that same boat, and probably had some ppl come from other stores, they tend to bowl over the newbies, so please give them a little while, and then give them a second chance.

Kevin Bishop

We love the ice!!! In Houston, we're on fire for it. Can bags of it be purchased for personal consumption?

Kevin

Arkansas Sonic Crew Leader

Kevin,
Yes the ice can be purchased by the cup or the bag. Or at least that is how it is at our sonic. We sell lots of bags of ice!

Ricky

we need a sonic in Miami Fl. i see all this sonic commercials everyday on t.v and it just makes me angry because there's no sonic in Miami and the closes sonic to Miami is about 60 miles away. EVERYONE IN MIAMI FL WISHES THEY HAD A SONIC. ME AND MY FRIENDS TRAVAEL 60 MILES AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH JUST TO EAT SONIC. PLEASE BUILT A SONIC IN MIAMI......

irritaited employee.

I am a current sonic employee. I have been reading this blog, and although somw of these complaints are legit, some are totally bogus.
I as an employee, I, an educated college student, have had my intelligence doubted because I work in fast food.
Most customers are fine, however, its the screaming, irritable, insane customers that piss me off. These customers will assume I am some stupid welfare baby mamma slut because I work at a fast food restaurant during the day. Nu-uh. I work at sonic during my breaks from college so I can have some cash.
Shitheads, I mean customers, have threatened me, thrown food at me, thrown trash at me, among other things. Some customers tend to also say inappropriate things of a sexual nature to me, even though I am decades younger than me.
Although I complain about these things, I often get no support from the management. Sometimes, when these classless customers (in BMWs) complain to the management, the management gives them free food or discounts.
The only reason I stay is for the tax-free tips.

James

I can't believe I read through 4 years of hateful comments, rude people, helpful people, current employees, former employees, disgruntled employees, disgruntled spouses, people asking the same questions over and over, people excited about Sonic, and people that want nothing more than to get to one.

I first want to give a warm thank you to all of you commenters that have had bad experiences with Sonic. I also want to thank all of you who have had WONDERFUL experiences at Sonic that you have felt the need to share. People tend to always see the negative sides of stories, and not even look for anything to show how good a company normally runs.

I will reiterate several things: first, if you are looking for a location near you, feel free to visit http://www.sonicdrivein.com and click on the yellow car in the upper right corner. Bear in mind that we have over 3200 locations in 33 states. We are not everywhere, but we are still a growing company and it is very likely that a Sonic will be nearer to you soon. Our advertising campaign is a national one, that targets all 50 states. This is a way to pique interest in the concept and in the brand overall. You have to admit, it is a VERY effective marketing strategy. Also, please please please remember that Sonic is 100% franchisee-owned. There are roughly 300 restaurants that are called "corporate" (SRI), but SRI is a licensed franchisee of Sonic Industries, just as the other franchise owners. The franchise system does not mean that your experience will vary from store to store; while there are slight menu variations from market to market, our core concept is unchanged system-wide. What you should "expect" from Sonic is fast, friendly, service with fresh, quality food. It is something every franchisee strives to ensure happens at their drive-ins. The people that run successful drive-ins with satisfied customers understand what it means to run a profitable business.

I have worked for Sonic for coming up on 7 years, and I have never been more proud of working for this company. I have (of course) had disagreements with various management over the years, but that doesn't mean that I let that distract me from providing quality service to my guests. I suppose it is a rare thing these days to actually meet somebody committed to excellence in this industry, but rest assured that these people do exist. I am proud to be among the few.

I manage the store on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. This location is HEAVILY dependent on tourism. We have a few people that come back daily, but for the most part, our customers wait years to eat at Sonic. The standards they expect are MUCH higher than those of the people that grew up with Sonic, as I did back in Bristow, Oklahoma. My location basically has ONE opportunity to show its customers exactly why we say "Its not just good, its SONIC good." Some people think that because we rarely have repeat business that we can just brush those customers away. I think otherwise. The people that come from Canada, New England, South Florida, anywhere in the world, spread the stories of their visit to Sonic, be it pleasurable or otherwise. Its that One Experience that can make or break it. Clearly, the first visit decides whether or not you will come back.

While many say that "the customer is always right", it has been my experience that people will say anything to get something for nothing, especially in today's economy. I do not like that I have that mindset, as I certainly did not think that when I first began with this company in 2002. And be that as it may, I dont let it deter my ability to solve problems or provide great service.

In conclusion, I will be monitoring this blog, to answer any questions/concerns/complaints or whatever. I am very much a customer-oriented person, and that is why I am successful at my career.

I work at a sonic on Pioneer in Irving, Tx. otherwise known as "Home Plate" to the Lear franchise. I absolutely love the store and its management. I have never seen so much dedication to serve the customer until I started working there. To all the bad experiences, people make mistakes. What I dislike the most is "the customer is always right" because as a matter of fact the customer is not always right, alot of the time yes but not all the time. Just smile and nod is my philosophy. If people are given the wrong food its probably because we didn't understand what you wanted or we are training somebody. I've noticed recently with an increase in trainees that alot of orders come up wrong. I guarentee if the customer is nice about the situation more than likely the management will be nice about the situation. Granted the car-hops and management should always be friendly no matter the situation. We work to please. Also, people who say your drinking spit, I don't believe you, as angry as any one of my co-workers have ever gotten at somebody for takeing an order, they have never spit in a drink. At our store we truely care about the customer and not the money.

A little on tipping. It is not required to tip a car-hop. If I don't get a tip then I don't get a tip and thats that. What I truely don't like is that with the increase in people paying with credit cards, why can't we recieve tips from the credit cards? Alot of customers complain about that. Every night I work I think I hear that complaint about 5-10 times. Once again, not required to tip car-hops, although we do appreciate tips when they are received.

Also, when you're really specific about an order its really hard to get it right. Just don't be so picky and except things the way they are. Just kidding. Specific orders are difficult though, that car-hop has to drop everything he/she may have been doing to go and do your order. I must have forgotten where I belong...
