The San Jose Giants won the California League championship last night at charming San Jose Municipal Stadium, defeating Lake Elsinore 7-1 to take the best-of-5 series 3 games to 2. It was great fun, and Turkey Mike's barbecue was awesome as always.

Wikipedia says "All of the current teams are playing in stadiums that have been built or extensively renovated since 1990," but SJ Municipal Stadium is of note as a WPA project from the early '40s. There's a separate Wiki entry just for the stadium.
