SantAmazon Claus has brought me the new J. R. R. Tolkein book, The Children of Húrin. This novel was put together from manuscripts and notes by Christopher Tolkein (son of J. R. R.), who has been doing this sort of thing for decades now. The story takes place during the First Age, thousands of years before the time of Lord of the Rings, where the bad guy is Morgoth, who taught ol' Sauron everything he knew about being evil.
