Is the National Hockey League non-season about to be officially cancelled? It sure looks that way. When it happens, my son Jess suggests we hockey fans wear our team jerseys or t-shirts as a form of protest or mourning.
UPDATE: After nine months of playing chicken with each other, the two sides now appear to have a good chance at a settlement.
While that may suck, it's the best news ever for my alma mater, the University of Denver. With the beloved Avalanche out of commission, DU's NCAA Champion hockey team is the only game in the mile high city!

Mm...how would wearing jerseys be any kind of meaningful protest? People (even here in Atlanta) wear em all the time anyway...
Maybe, wear 'em inside out..or..., well, I dunno.

We are calling on all hockey fans to boycott the games this fall until Gary & Bob are 'replaced'.
Thanks - Steve C
