Presidential candidates have to report campaign contributions, and this site has used the power of the web to collect up this information and sort it by name and address. Type in your address and find out who your neighbors are contributing to. Kinda neat, kinda creepy.
I just created 3 charts from this data, profiling Maui:
homepage.mac.com/t_d/.Public/Chart1.pdf
Illustrates that Bush got 90% of his money from $1000-$2000 checks (and Edwards, getting his support exclusively from lawyers, got ALL his money at this level).
homepage.mac.com/t_d/.Public/Chart2.pdf
Shows the distribution of contributions by size, again showing that the great majority of Bush's donations were at the $1000-$2000 level, while Dean's donation size is a normal distribution with the mean, median, and mode near $500.
homepage.mac.com/t_d/.Public/Chart3.pdf
Is the outcome of Maui voting if dollars were votes.
